Yes, all manufacturers have issues from time to time and it’s the manner in which they approach the issue, agree it’s their
fault and replace it with a “sorry” very quickly. That’s a sign of a great company in my opinion!!

Re: Repacked the front bearings and have some questions.
It is completely unnecessary to fill the hubcaps and Hub with grease. Some do with the hubcap only to have a supply of grease available to use elsewhere on the vehicle. Grease is only needed packed into both cones and a smear on the inside of the hub between each bearing. Excessive grease can cause ...

Excuse my ignorance but how can a Tyre be two different sizes?

Can I ask why the bridge washer is shaped the way it is? Is there a reason why it to raises the stem base off the rim?
It must serve another purpose other than sandwiching the stem to the tube...? Would you use modern bridge washers with a new Blockley Tube?

Can I ask why the bridge washers are shaped like a “bridge” ?? Does it serve another purpose other than to squeeze the Tube to the inner part of the original style Valve? Is there a purpose for raising the Tube / Stem the height of the bridge?

The Hartford Tubes I have seen do have the Blue line plus their name in bold letters. To me, that’s a great sign if the manufacturer puts their name on it as they have confidence in their product. Blockley do exactly the same with both their Tyres and Tubes.

It looks like a “Bursting Disc” to me. These are usually made of exotic material and fitted under a Safety Valve.
