The front of the card says
Autos are a common sight in Medford, more of them then other rigs
The young fellow without a car is ____ with a big share of the girls
At first I thought the ____word was "me". But I come more thinking it is a name. I just cannot make it out for sure.

Re: Forum Question
Scott's 4 minute mark is truly remarkable. And he found the exact post that I was wanting to look at. Thank you so much for that. And with all these searching tips to use, I have tried and tried to bring up this post on my own. Pretending I do not know the title, and inserting in what I thought migh...

Forum Question
Searching old posts on this new forum is fairly easy. But searching for them from 2018 and earlier seems a bit more time consuming. Is there an easier way to look up an older post that I did possibly in 2017 about my 1915?

Re: K model Ford ?
Rob, It was nice talking to you. We made it back home. I got the picture back out and looked at it. There was writing on the front that was trimmed off. And there was writing on the back. It was postmarked August 1, 1911. It was sent to Lincoln Nebraska. I am reposting the front side with the writin...

Model T Ford Music
Was there ever any songs dedicated to the Model T Ford. I am very familiar with Henry's Made a Lady out of Lizzy. This was just recently talked about in the Model A club magazine. There was also the song, Me and my Oldsmobile. And even the one about the Maxwell. Mack's Swell Car Was a Maxwell. As po...

Re: Need help searching
I do think that is it. Pratt and Lambert. Also did someone come in and mention another brand that was close also? I will search my local paint store that carries Pratt and Lambert on Monday. I am working on a 1914, and just wanted it as close as possible. Thank you.

In an earlier post, November, December or January. There was a discussion on staining firewalls, 1913 or 1914. Someone was talking about a color of minwax stain that had been discontinued. And for all I remember it might have been another brand. And on that same post, there was some mention of some ...

Don't know that much about the early Fords. Can someone verify if this is a K model and what year you think it is. This post card is post marked August 1911. Thank you in advance for your responses.

TT Tires & Wheels
I have several questions on tires and wheels, on the early TT's. I have a 1921 built the first part of May. It has the 32 X 4 1/2 on the rear. And 30 x 3 1/2 on the front. My first question is how many years did they use the 32 X 4 1/2 on the rear. And what kind of tire/tread pattern would they have...

Re: Suggestions on who to send my wheels to????????
I would like to thank everyone for their input. It looks likes Stutzman wins. I will give him a call. I want to build a show car. I have just received a new set of smooth white tires from Coker this week. Which has been ordered for right at a year. I thought it might take a long time to get a set of...

I have never had any wheels rebuilt and would like any suggestion you have to offer. I am wanting the best job possible. This would be for my 1914. Two 30 x 3 and two 30 x 3 1/2. I want show quality.
Thank you

Re: Leon Parker's rewooding plans
I can tell you that they have nothing left. I purchased the entire estate of model T and Model A. But the plans on paper, were already sold before I bought this. But there was a tremendous amount of wood patterns. There was so many truck and trailer loads of parts, that it could take me a couple yea...

1915-09-15 was a Wednesday not a Tuesday. There are exceptions to the specific day patent applications were accepted, but this day was not one of them. If you search that day.....no patents were patented on that day in the US. Results of Search in US Patents Collection db for: ISD/19150915: 0 patent...

Ols Photo - Shop Picture - Fordson tractor & Model T engine
Fordson tractor pulling some type of machine. But the man blocks most of the view. Cannot figure out what it is for sure. Possibly one of those machines to break in the engines? Odd looking engine stand that the T block is on. And some type of crankshaft machine on the workbench. Possibly for straig...

Re: Price increase on all tires
I just got off the phone with Coker. I ordered 2) 600-20 and 2) 30 x 3 1/2 Firestone for my TT to be delivered at Chickasha. He said that the 600 20s are made in in USA. The front tires are are not. The current prices are good till March 10th. I asked about the amount of increase. The tires I am get...

Raoul, you got me thinking and I looked at the stamp box. It is AZO with squares in the corners. This dates this PC from 1927 to 1940
- 1904-1918 Four triangles, pointing up.
- 1918-1930 Two 'up' and two 'down' triangles.

OT - Old Photo - Pre T - Ford Endures - Home of Superman
I have had this picture for years. And have a lot of questions that I would like to have answered. I suppose it is an N model, from I have learned lately, because of the step. The car shows to have a lot of missing parts. As you see all the advertisements on the car, and notice it says Metropolis Il...

Old Photo - Early T With Odd Looking Bumper
Does this odd looking bumper make the car look taller in front or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me? Look at the clearance between the tires and the front fenders. Or is it just the angle of the picture?

Thanks to everyone for all the input. This is how I (we all) learn from all you knowledgeable folks. On the Banner (flag) it has ELKHORN 09. This could possibly be when the picture was taken. As I look at the people in the photo, I see a resemblance in the people pictured. Possibly mother, daughter ...

I recently bought a set of ARP main studs on eBay. I knew they were on back order from ARP. This outfit said ships within 24 hours. Well, we got the tracking number very quick, but no sign of it getting to the post office. Three days later, with no explanation, the order was canceled and my money wa...
