JB, I pulled the motor out of storage again and you are correct It's only 7 digits. In my hurry I forgot to count. The previous owner said It came from a 24 touring car. The odd part Is It has a generator and starter. Some one forgot a number. But witch one. Bill

This Is a serious tool. I have been Balancing Cranks, Flywheels an Transmission Drums for over 50 Years with One just like Dan's. I have never had a customer question or complain about a vibration on any motor or transmission that I've done since I started to Balance with mine.

Scott, The shaft is a left over 1" PH 4140 with 16 TPI. The fingers are scraps of A2 and hardened by eye. The spring is from a ballpoint pen and too soft, so I have to wind one from piano wire. The spring doesn't have to do any more than extend the fingers after It goes through the hole as the finge...

Hi, In response to your questions about the holes in the door jam, there Is wood on the inside to stiffin the door jam and act as a tack strip for the cardboard interior panels. If you have more questions or need more pictures let me know.

Hank, You continue to prove there is more than one way to solve a problem.

As a machinist for most of 60 years, I'd super glue the broken parts together and put the parts on my tracing mill and make a copy in steel.

Your solution and fabricating skills are so simple and great.

The long crank handle In the last picture looks like a late 40"s to mid 50"s Wisconsin single cylinder motor hand crank.

Montgomery Ward Spark Plug Box

For sale a nice old Montgomery Ward Co. Spark Plug Box.

I cleaned It with warm soap and water and a new soft paint brush to remove 100 years of grime so I could take some pictures. There Is some rust but the graphics are in fair condition.

I am asking $25 OBO + shipping
