Re: Fresh mag ring?
Here's a jig I made to wind the coils. I have more pictures and info. I got some of my supplies from the local electric motor rewinding facility who also varnished and baked the finnished ring. I made the handle for this jig out of a long 1/2 inch bolt.

A good rule of thumb is to have at least 10% of your load forward of the axle. Don't load backward. Been there, done that.

GEORGE, you are dead wrong about the power draw of an air conditioner, if it is done right. I used s small Mazda compressor and you can barely hear a
rpm change when I turn the AC on and off. ( My2cw)

Valve Stem
I just had a flat on the R F wheel. Upon opening the tire I found that the brass valve stem broke loose from the inner tube. Can a new stem be attached to the tube?

Keith, Yes, this is the Runabout that I rescued from a rock pile back in 1945. I ran water in the radiator even in winter in Wisconsin. I am running that same motor though it has freeze cracks that are sealed with JB Weld. As soon as I get smart enough to convert a video to a link, I'll show my gra...

Re: Oil weight
I don't know what this has to do with anything, but when I was a kid I used drain oil from a fleet of farm tractors and trucks. I drove the T a lot too. I don't think any of the farm vehicles had oil filters and as I recall the oil was VERY black.

Maybe this is easier to read. About 10 lines down in the instructions it warns about using battery acid. My opinion agrees with Mark that soda or salt in the jars reduce the line in current. ???

Re: Airconditioning in Model T?
1. I used a small compressor as used in the Mazda aftermarket air conditioner kit 2 The power draw is almost not noticeable. About as much as when I turn on the alternator. At a high idle RPM you can just barely hear engine change when the ac is turned on and off 3 The air conditioner works great bu...
