Re: Has anyone ever driven their T across the Mighty Mac?

I pulled both my '26 Touring and '27 Fordor over "the bridge" (we Michiganders rarely name it; everyone knows what you mean by "the bridge") in my 28' enclosed trailer in a 35 MPH wind. Toward the top it was a bit nerve wracking, even at only 25 MPH. I have never crossed while driving in a T but rod...

I am looking for a full set of nickel wire wheel lug nuts for a 26-27. There should be 22 in the set. Re: Wanted to Buy, 1917 Coupelet or 1918 Coupe ONLY!!!

I'd say that eBay body is worth jumping on. Obviously the price is crazy but shoot, but a restored coupe or Runabout, have the Coupelet body restored, mate the two and you are done in a year. Just my 2 cents worth.

Re: Painting Wire Wheels by Brush?????????

My 2 cents worth was gleaned from researching wire wheel colors for my last '26 Touring. Factory wire wheels were to be supplied by the dealer on an exchange basis. For a nominal charge dealers were to offer color to be applied by the dealer with a brush, with a stripe to match. Thus, brush painted ...

WTB 26-27 Touring or Roadster door panel

I am looking for an original (or original looking) passenger side front door interior panel for a '26-7 Touring or Roadster. I am looking for the cardboard upholstery panel.

Thanks so much.

Re: Cartouche Upholstery

Seems to me if all a poster can do is offer negativity, maybe they should no longer be allowed to post. I, for one have been pleased with almost everything every after-market provider has sold to me. Have I had to work at the installation occasionally? Yes. But folks, that's the hobby...and the fun.

Jerry, I did some checking and it appears the car we are thinking of has been sold off. While I know the general location it is not for a public forum. I'm going to keep looking. Walt, in the meantime, I would think about an ad in Hemmings. A car will turn up.

When I started reading the thread my first thought was to pull the keys out of the rear hubs. It takes just a couple minutes and everything else remains functional, thus, I third Harry's suggestion.

Not matter how the topic is sliced I agree that it would be wise to broaden the scope of your search by considering different platforms. Conversely, I greatly admire your laser focused approach to the exact car you want. Likely you won't be satisfied until you find the car you are looking for. Perso...

WTB Touring top boot

I am looking for a top boot for both of my touring cars. I would like one for my 1913 and another for my 1926. A little rough/rugged is fine for either or both cars as they are both survivor cars. As a friendly reminder to the scammers out there, please avoid me as I will continue to report you to t...

Re: Wanted to Buy, 1917 Coupelet or 1918 Coupe ONLY!!!

I just remembered that RM sold a 17 or 18 Coupelet (I don't remember which) about 20-21 years back at their Auburn fall sale. I almost bought it but wound up with my first '26 Touring instead. It's a heck of a long shot but might be worth finding out where that car wound up. Just a thought. I rememb...

I was the lucky buyer of this car. I just took my first ride in it this afternoon and told Steve he misrepresented the car...but in a good way. The car is MUCH better in person than the photos would suggest and it drives exceptionally well. Steve was first class to work with and I couldn't be happie...

It's out there. Cars come out of the woodwork. Something that was suggested to me that worked was going through old issues of Hemmings. I called someone who advertised what I wanted 10 years previously. It had not sold and the guy even honored the advertised price.

Re: What Have You Done to Your Model T in April?

I took my girls out for a ride. Olivia, my oldest has been begging me to teach her to drive. She just turned 12 so I figured close enough. She's a natural. Here they are on the return trip. For obvious reasons I didn't attempt to photograph her while she learned to drive.
