No external brakes , new bands were fitted after removing the hogs head , to repair a bad oil leak , I never drove the car due to a bad oil leak . Will report back after my next run out !

So no big feet , that's not my problem ! Had the car out today reversed no problem when just started , after a run when hot only backs up about 4 yards then seams to bind up and stop , was watching where my foot was definately only reverse pressed ! Thanks

Reverse problem
Fitted new set of band in my 23 touring , only problem is when I step on the reverse pedal it goes back a bit then seams to bind up and stall , what could be the problem ?

Thanks for the reply a , food for thought , I know I had plenty of fuel in the tank , so will give it another run at the weekend and try adjusting the mixture and advance/retard and let yous know how I get on !

Driving/ carb adjusting on hills
So was out driving my 23 tourer , was down at sea level and to get home I had a long uphill climb , car started off well got a good race at the hill but getting near the top the car was struggling , into low gear then higher reves to get over the top . Should I be screwing out the meddle in the carb...

I learned by watching you tube then tried out my t in a smoothish field , when you get it moveing by pressing the clutch/forward pedal get the car up to about 10 miles per hour , ease of gas and at same time lift foot of clutch/forward pedal and move h...

No spark when switched to mag , removed Bendix and starter and hogs head , see damage to coil insulation beside starter , any fixes for this without removing engine and splitting from transmission ? Thanks

Took the coupe out a wee spin , headed for the car park at slemish mountain where st Patrick once roamed . Last time I tried to get up into the car park it wouldn't climb due to low fuel , filled her up this time before climb and made it in low gear and low ruxtall
