Background - One of my T's has a binding transmission issue. I have owned the T for 7 years, was parked for approx 8 years prior from deceased estate so no history known. It has always been VERY slow/stiff to crank over cold and so slow to wind on the starter.

A friend mentioned today that Ton Trucks were produced after the last T cars. In researching it seems that there is mentioned that TT did not end until AA started. It seems that AA didn't start until December 1927. That would mean there were TT's with serial a number 15,068,957+...

I noticed today that I have some clicking from one of the wood wheels on the 22. Some investigation showed loose spokes on two wheels. My wheels have the metal rings not wood felloes so spoke replacement is not a gargantuan task and I wanted to touch up the paint on the wheels anyway.

Some wanted a cowl metal piece. The one above the hood and just below the windshield. If they st ill want one, email me. I have one from the early 20s (I think. Solid, no rust that I can see. The family's 1922 Coupe turned 100 in June. I rebuilt the generator and it is working fine. 7 to 10 amp charge at road speed.

My friend is having trouble. The NH on his touring runs rich all the time. Mixture needle is binary and only turns fuel on and off. Trying to adjust does nothing.
Black smoke and gas soaked spark plugs. Advancing the throttle bogs the motor. Mix needle is perfect with not a mark or imperfection. Carb's been cleaned and blown out.

I am looking for well used and rusty mirrors for my 1921 Runabout.

This Nonpaeil Black and Brass Horn has a Nickle bezel around the screen (note 2 small dents). Paint was removed and the underlying brass polished to show the brass. Could not find any dents or cracks in the horn other than the 2 small dents on the bezel. The reed is in the horn and its LOUD.

After making all the base line jet adjustments per the book, I swapped out a good running U&J for this freshly rebuilt Winfield S-AA-U, tied the throttle closed, pulled the choke, and pushed the starter button. To my amazement, it near instantaneously popped off and sat there idling at a smooth slow idle! Creepy!

I futzed with the idle...

Here are 2 ea. Winfield S/SR-AA to 2.375” bolt spacing 2 bolt flange (Model A) carb adapters. I make these new for the Model A guys, but found that this adapter was perfect for swapping out the U&J on my touring car (see pic below).
