My thought is you have the gease cups with a zerk inside? Grease zerk couplings usualy only will not release unless there is a great deal of
pressure on them. Is this on the ball cap or the drive shaft bushing. In either case the depth that a easyout can go into a hole causing other

Norm, Thanks for the suggestion. I did what you suggested. However, I had to rotate the hub clockwise , looking from the cab toward the radiator, not counterclockwise . It solved my problem as shown in the attached photos.

The last two photos show the commutator rod in the two extreme positions.

Hairpin cotter pins

I read recently in an older VF the wires to C and D were reversed on Ford coils from KW coils..
Look at VF volume 21 #2 , March Apri 1986 if you can.
A very good article there on coil rebuilding and on page 24 and at the bottom it mentions the wire reversal between the KW and Ford coils.

Years ago at Hershey, I saw a bike mounted on the driver's side running board of a teens or twenties automobile.

That's a U.S. or Canadian factory town car.

If it's left hand drive, then it could be either U.S. or Canadian manufactured.

If it's right hand drive (which it appears to be) then it's Canadian.

The front tires and wheels appear to be 30 x 3.5 and 23 respectively. That also indicates it is Canadian regardless if it is right hand or left hand...

Here's the Bauer Ford badge on our '25 coupe which was sold new in Cincinnati about 10 miles where it now lives in Taylor Mill, KY. The Latonia Motor Company badge on our '22 touring is from a dealership that was located about 2 miles from where it's presently garaged, also in Taylor Mill. KY.

I suspect that there is a recommended current (amperage) per square inch of plating surface. I am not familiar with Nickle plating, but I am familiar with Chrome plating.

From the thread that Dan linked, looks like they are called Anzo fasteners, not Burco. Restoration Supply used to have a limited selection of them, I don't know if they still do. Restoration Specialties also show some.

5 ball carbs typically need to be flooded to start
My method
1. Flood the carb by depressing the float for 5 seconds
2. With the ignition off give the hand crank 5 pulls.
3. Turn on the ignition
4. Crank and, if you didn't get a free start after 3. , it will start on on one or two pulls.

This gauge has 30 - 0 - 30 numbers and fits perfect in the 1926-27 panel. Si it lends itself to Ts with an alternator upgrade.

I just used an aircraft nibbler tool to make the adapter a litle larger inside and the gauge slid right in....

An update,
I have contacted a active TT owner who has a 1927 TT. He confirms that the bracket with the threaded boss is on his truck and the position is such that it is impossible to use a bolt ( that's why the Boss is threaded) and it sits so close to the generator a nut couldn't be placed on the end of a bolt, and as is obvious the bracket is...

I searched for the pictures on Ging & Boogle and did not find another copy of the images so may be ok but post was made on CL today.

When I remove those pins, I drill 3/4 of the way through, leaving a solid engine for the punch to drive on. Up your drill size until the hole just breaks through the side. Now you have a split rivet and only the last little bit to drive out.

Russ furstnow makes all the leather straps for T's. I got all them for my 14. They are super quality.
Nice & thick. Not flimsy as available thru some vendors. (Specifically the top saddle leathers)

I just upgraded a 1917 transmission, to a 1920 with a starter, that had a double mag coil ring and brass spools to support the magnets.

Wheter this was original or just a use of available earlier parts is a total unknown for me.

The hoses used in conjunction with the tube from the radiator to the inlet as made for a number of years, do not need to be as long as they are in my opinion and can interfere with the rod. They only need to be long enough to have clamping room on either side of the upset on the tube and castings.

It only needs the brass polished and it’s ready to enjoy!!!
