All things are possible. I would cut a good threaded end off a warped T manifold and section it onto the Fronty manifold after cutting off the flanged connection that doesn’t belong there.

The drawing indicates on 10-11-20 is was Obsolete. The screwdriver does not appear in the 1921 parts book. I would concur it was no longed supplied in the tool roll in 1921.

I would suspect that tubing for the gasoline fuel lines would have been the same tubing used for the acetylene gas lines for the headlamps.

I believe all the wheel makers used the same Ford hubs. Even though Ford quit supplying speedometers in 1915, the 17-18 front hubs have the machined flange and three screw holes for mounting a speedometer gear. Scott, even if you construe the other Scott's remarks as somehow unfriendly or offensive, pay attention to his advice. When it comes to Model T's, he knows his stuff. It's smart to take his suggestions seriously.

Go to the MTFCA Encyclopedia. Under 1926-‘27 springs, it says that in 1926-‘27, the springs had 8 leafs for all styles except for the sedans (Fordor and Tudor sedans), which had 9 leafs, so the springs for your 1927 coupe, are correct in having 8 leafs. Jim Patrick.

Jerry, be aware that original swivel joints are going to be threaded 12-32...not a common thread (actually, 7/32 - 32, but you're not going to find that easily unless you go online...however, with some effort, you may find 12-32).

It would seem that the Livingston radiators over time would get more ‘beat up’ , dented or otherwise because the surface areas were more exposed than the original Ford radiator. Maybe people were more careful back in those days than I think they were.

Ordered last Thursday (8/4) the set of four for my '13 arrived this morning. Perhaps I don't know enough to be displeased ? They look good to me, and I'm sure I'll be happy with them. I'm not sure what they are calling a blemish. This minor flaw on one of the tires is all I could see in the way of imperfections.

Did you choose a 6V or 12 V alternator?

I totally agree with speedy except I shoot for about 080 to
0 90 inch width of contact. Lapping is important in my opinion.

The nuts arrived, there's a lot of them, way more than I'll ever use! :O

One source indicates 2 available axle ratios for the 1929 AA: 7.25:1, or 5.17:1. Assuming 6.00 X 20 tires, top speeds would be around 34 MPH with the lo speed axle and 45+ MPH for the hi speed axle.
An AA in good condition could comfortabley run 30+ MPH with the low speed axle and 40+ with the hi speed axle. (Pretty good for a 95 year old truck)

Black is hot, white is common, green is ground. Switches go in the hot (black) lead.

Checked the battery clamp and it was slightly loose so I tightened it up and all is still good almost 4 years later.

If you can find a copy, get the book Pate's Early Ford Encyclopedia , it is full of information on early Fords. Be sure the copy you get still has the CD in the pocket on the back cover with lots of extra information not in the print book. :)

One reason a T collector may have a Chevy 490 front hub is to build a T speedster using Chevy 490 spindles in T axel for lowering plus maybe 490 steering gear. The wheels could be built up with Chevy hubs and Ford rims.

Those are Tiger timers - if the insulator ring is a dark maroon, those would be era - if the insulator is more orange, that would be a more recent repro.

Kim I absolutely love the patent pending E&J’s the solid jewel with no facets are wonderful. My left and right sidelights have different colored non faceted, blue & red jewels respectively. Peter can you tell if it’s an original or something else. It really looks good.
