In the Canadian province of British Columbia in 1922 they switched from driving on the left to driving on the right.
Curiously While I have seen/found RHD hogsheads in both aluminum and cast iron, I have not seen one with a starter.
Perhaps ford switched to selling LHD cars there in 1919 anyway!

Can't figure out why this is bored into the engine side of the this firewall....what's it for? It is only 5/8's deep and it does intersect the mixture control rod that passes through that slant drilled hole. Is there some sort of vibration damper that fits inside to keep the rod from turning on it's own whilst the car is traveling? You can see it...

Can someone post a picture or two of the gas line routing for a 1926 Roadster? Mine came to me with a stock sediment bowl, but rubber hose to the stock carb. I suppose it's not a dire need, but I'd like to change it to stock.

I am headed down to California to pick up my new 22 pickup and there is a chance that the key is missing. I see that I can get replacement keys, but I don’t know how to do that if I don’t know the number. Is it stamped on the switch somewhere?

This would not be an issue if the freight company in Tacoma did not require the key to ship it to...

Here we go with that firewall again. The drawing shows ⅜ holes for the two bolts and calls for T-7255 body bolts without giving the bolt size. The bolts used when this car was assembled in the seventies are ⁵⁄₁₆ . I'm assuming that the ⁵⁄₁₆ bolts are wrong and they should be ⅜ , but I'd better check and be sure. I've found plenty of incorrect...

I think I have seen vacuum gauges on Montana 500 dashes in the past. If not has anyone run a vacuum gauge on there model T and know what the vacuum is under acceleration? I know this changes with altitude just looking for ball park figure from hard acceleration to WOT.

Restored and tested Wheeler-Schebler carb and related hardware. Included are the heat stove and flex tubing pieces. These carbs are a direct replacement, and actually better in my opinion than the Stromberg OFs, but not near as common. Asking $650.00 including shipping.

I'm currently restoring a late 1911 touring car that has a November 1911 engine serial number, which matches the title. The original firewall still has what is likely the original patent plate shown in the picture below. This number is roughly 2000 higher than the engine serial number. Does anyone know what this number signifies?

I will soon be installing new felt window channels, regulator and window glass in my 1927 coupe. I plan to reuse the bottom window channel. I have never done this before, so need guidance. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I recently brought my 1926 Runabout out of storage to get it started. When I would attempt to engage the starter the car would try to drag forward. So I jacked it up and put stands under the rear axle, reset the air fuel mixture, choke, crank it over twice, turn on the ignition and it fired right up.

Does the linkage go under or over the lower radiator hose? When I got mine it was routed under. Currently the rod connection at the timer is rubbing against the belt when fully advanced and has been for awhile before I bought it. I’m assuming that I need to bend the rod to lengthen it. I have the tool to check the timing.
