Re: How much time have you got ??

I find my T’s are on the back burner this year Rich. I did get a good day tinkering with the 18 a few weeks ago as the ignition had gone completely dead over the winter and as I worked on other things here and thought about it today, maybe I’ll just rewire him to use the “newer” 6 Volt battery for s...

Some time back you may have mentioned that faces may have been a bit of a struggle but in that Harley-Davidson painting, you shore did nice. Very interesting painting. Strangely, you guys and myself. No-one in my immediate family was T savvy/interested, 'cept my dad who very quietly supported my addiction to the T and all old machines. I know a cab like yours of May-ur Keith's and did I share any pics? Sadly no as I thought it weren't.
Every little detail you show on your new cab tells me there be "Layer O' Green" (faded) UNDER that black paint on Keith's truck.
Interesting.

Some old model railroad engines have frames of pot metal and some have the typical problems.
One fellow wrote a very detailed description of drying the pot metal thoroughly (light baking) and using super glue to repair and seal the stuff.
Don't know this helps, thought I'd throw it out there.
