Always had the insane idea of a slower turning, long stroke tractor engine in a speedster.
Funky how speedsters still stir us. The open flywheel really does it for me as I have some tractors almost like that...

Yep! A nice looking Avery on Feb 1st! I've wiggled into a '12 (I think). Beautiful trucks with their wooden plugs in the wheels and plush looking upholstery but not very user friendly for anyone around 6 feet tall. Don't be a bit afraid of wiggling that cam gear off for an oil tube check. Ya, the rear axle on my 18 cost me a bundle $$$ too but the only things able to be reused were the grease cups! John didn't want to sell me the adjustable pinion either. Worked out great! I set the gear clearance tighter than most here but that axle sounds so good and it's done until something break...
