No experience with brass radiators.

I have found Lemon Pledge works well to delay tarnishing of brass clock components I work with in my other “hobby”. After polishing or graining, I simply spray it on then wipe off with a clean lint free towel.

This is how it looks today from my deck in Prescott, AZ. Same storm that dumped on Norm and John. 14” to 16” of snow. Some drifting as well. Snow emergency declared. (100 mi. north of Phoenix at 5200 ft. elevation.)

Whoa! I don’t see anything on my can of acetone or the MSDS indicating it is a carcinogen. In any event, penetration of the skin is not a good thing, especially if one uses it to remove other substances on the hands. Tired of the Ruckstell shifter getting in the way when entering or exiting from the passenger side. Cut off 3.5” , attached handle from junk T hand lever, turned lever around and reinstalled. Position shown is "Ford high” or “out of Ruckstell"

I have the same issue. Am an MTFCA member and have attempted to join that group as well. Even though I select MTFCA user group, my user group reverts to Registered user and my user name remains light blue.

Similar experience to Steve’s. After years of fooling with and replacing several Windows PC machines, I purchased a Mac and a little later an iPad as well and haven’t looked back. Has been over 5 years now and everything still works and is up to date. They just work.

Jim, that is odd that you had to resize some of your 4-5 MB photos. I used one of my photos as a test that was originally 9MB. The forum software automatically resized it to 397KB. (1077 X 800 pixels)

I noticed the same thing Tony. The back arrow does not refresh the read and unread posts. However, refreshing your browser does. I just click on the forum in my bookmarks (favorites) to refresh and all are updated.

Frank, I have an iPad as well. Colors change and read and unread works on mine. You do have to be logged on to your account for this feature to work. No mouse to “left click” on, you just tap on the photo to enlarge to full size.

It appears that the forum software resizes the photos in the neighborhood of a maximum 1100 X 800 pixels judging from the info at the top of the enlarged photos. To my eyes, they don’t seem quite as sharp as the photos posted on the old forum.

The problem with having numerous separate categories, it ends up that some of the other categories are seldom visited. Some will go for days before anyone posts on them. An example of this is the AACA forum.

I’m for keeping it simple and uncluttered with unnecessary categories.
