Re: Intake manifold leak
I like the gland and copper rings the best , It probably needs adjusting or just tightening. Sometimes you can just give them a wrap with a hammer and tighten them a little more to fix this type of problem. Also I use silicone to hold all the pieces in place and to help seal things while assembling....

A lot of Model A guys are going with inserts with no mods to the oil system. Hi mileage is at 60,000+ miles. My race car has all insert bearings, only about 2,000 miles on it now. It is a must to keep clean oil in it!. Model A's have an oil pump, but not a pressured system. It floods the lifter area...

Re: Convert my 1921 Kerosene tail light to electric
There are a few guys here that have installed led lights in their side lamps that was circular and had its own battery, I think they were from harbor freight. They didn't have to modify it them at all. It would work well if you are only using it for a tail light.

Re: Speedster rebuild
Peter, Is there any chance of getting better photos of the steering box, and any other info you may have on it? I purchased the one on ebay and it is missing the top and the input gear. Thanks in advance.
