Interesrting. The Benson Ford collection has some of the shipping information and some early build sheets.. Someone should spend some time at the Benson researching for a possioble link to this car. I did so on my 1910 and found the name of the Ford Dealer .

A great show. There is a tri motor in the Henry Ford Museum. Northwest Airlines (now Delta) started with several Tri Motors. Tri Motors could take off and land on a short runway. The early 1909 T, the hand cranks were held in place in a upward position. This is normal and all early Ts were that way. The only real hard part is the brass cap with the ford name and model 75. J Brown also issued the same light for others with a plain top. I have one of those and have been offered others. I was once offered one with a model 100 top installed. I have thought of trying that.

Photographs taken at that time of large masses of parked autos show the great success of autos in the 16 or 17 years of sighnicficant auto production. Re: Revitalizing Chickasha Pre-War swap meet
Yes we are getting older. I am 90 and have had an interest in early autos since I bought my 1910 T in 1946. I did not drive down this year because the sale times are so short. Let us put everyone inside. Start set up at noon on thursday and only let sellers in on Thursday. With the buildings full of...

The body is a 1911, but has added front doors. Could be an early 12 made in 1911. The arm rest is curved. The two early 1912s I once owned (one has made in December 1911, the front seat arm rest, as I remember was changed to accomodate the doors.

A museum auto should be correct in all possible details. The Warp Museum is full of antique cars, perhaps 300. Somew are correct, some are way off base. People view these autos as a good mrepresentive of what they are listed at. Many are not, so people go away thinking that is what the car was and i...

Edison owned the Detroit Electric Company. Ford started out as a junior mechanic and rose to chief engineer. When Ford became famous he met Edison and reminded him that he had worked for him in Detroit. Edison did not remeber that.

Re: 2 lever 09 sells tomorrow in Paris at Bonhams
there are at least two early 1909 T that were built up from parts. One is the "famous number 2" by Donald B Hess. There are numerous questions about that T. The frame is a later one (1913). The engine does not checkout as being that early. The other one is number 1001. That T is mostl;y correct, but...

That does help cool . Years ago I bouight a very nice 1923 (22 style) coupe that over heated after 30 minutes of use. I installed a system similar to this mone using a two gallon tank back in the rear area. Drove the T for 20 years and it never over heated after that.

I have a set of hubs. The front are 5 1/2 inch sze and the rear 6 inch reworked straight axle hubs to take tapered axles. Rather than dismantle the wheels on the 1910, I would like to buy new rims and have new wheel spokes and rest made and assembled.

A 1927 roadster would be nice. I owned one back about 1960. A really nice T and it was a very late one, made in late May of 1927. A fun car.

When I bought my 1910 in 1946, it was titled as an 1909, so I refered to it as the "09" . When I found out it was an 1910, I stil called it the "09"for several years. Then I caled it "The T". When I bought a 1916 center door, the 1910 became the "10" again. After all these years and owning other Mod...

I bought my 1910 in 1946. It5 was being sold as an antique and as a parade vehicle. The pure oil company bought it as a parade vehicle in 1931 in Chicago . Early Model T fords were being saved in the 1930s. AACA dates from the mid 1930s. So some were being saved at that time.. During WWII a 1910 Mod...

The head light appears to be a model 19, so it may be a 1911m(I do not think it is a 12. By that time most all Ts had tops as standard equipment. Also moo windshield. Many nof the 09s did not have windsheilds or tops afrom the factory.

By the end of a few days I knew quite bit about Model Ts. I installed new bands a few weeks later. Bought a set of ba...

If such a Model T exists, mid should not be in a orivatre collection, but at the Henry Ford or the T Musuem inm Richmond, so every one can enjoy seeing it.
