Howard had a very nice service. There were at least 200 people present to pay their respects and about 10 model t's to accompany him to the grave site. They all honked their horns for him. His 3 sons are restoring his #7 racer. I had the privilege of driving it on the Yosemite tour. Glen

Does the needle bearing replace the front drive shaft bushing. If so you do not have a front thrust bearing for the u-joint. Big mistake. Never throw away the thrust surface. If you have a modern bearing Drive Shaft Spool never rely on the Clamp ring to keep the proper Drive Shaft end play. It lets ...

Magnets should be charged after mounting them. Pounding on the magnets with a hammer to set magnet height tends to reduce the charge..

What is the gear ratio. 11/40, 12/40, 13/40 or 13/39? The only way to properly check the gears is to remove the drivers side housing and bolt the drive shaft assembly to the passenger (Ruckstell) side. You can then check the backlash or clearance which should be 0.005-0.010. Rotating the pinion gear...

In most cases the bearing has worn a groove or lip in the outer side of the sleeve, The bearing is hanging up on this lip. Glen

There are several descriptions on the internet for running fit including yours but none of them say how to make the measurement. This is so basic it stinks and they all ignore it. A lot of words and space wasted. No help at all.

Henry, I love supporting the hobby and would hate to just close my doors. If I did a lot o dealers and customers would loose the source of a lot of their parts. I doubt that any dealer would be willing to invest the money to replace the parts that we manufacture.

The fellow in Canada swears he is going to buy our used parts and wants them very much. Especially at 0.15 on the dollar. However, he is having problems with transportation to Canadas and has nor given us a deposit. So as far as I am concerned the parts are still for sale.

Our new Clutch Spring has a force of 110-115 lbs at 2 inches. It can be used with any Ford clutch set up. Glen

Thomas, I cannot disagree. It takes a lot of dedication to make a business successful.
