I am looking for a set of Ford marked top saddles. Does anyone have some that they would sell?

As Dan suggested, a blind hole puller will work. So would a pilot bearing puller. As for the grease and a rod to drive in, that works too. I saw a video where the guy used a piece of bread and stuffed it into the cavity and used a hammer and rod. It worked great to, and no greasy mess to clean up.

Steve, you drove right through my territory, and I missed you. Crawfordsville is only about 10 miles from my house. Did you take in any covered bridges down around Rockville?

I pulled the engine out of my 26 roadster in July of 2021. Today, I finally finished installing the rebuilt engine, rebuilt steering column, new radiator and new wiring. It fired right up, but I have oil leaking out around the petcocks on the oil pan. I will address that when I change the oil.

Dave, you probably drove down through Illinois just to the west of me. Yes, I have thought about going to OCF, maybe some day!

I am looking for a good 26-27 steering column.

Steve, look for some one that does hot tar roofing, or a building supply company. If I remember correctly, it is type 3, or steep asphalt. I got mine from someone here on the forum that had some extra.

I pulled the steering column, dash and gas tank out of the 26 Roadster and replaced the cowl seal and tank strap pads. Next is installing an uncut dash panel and rebuilding the steering column. Then I can get back to finishing the installation of the rebuilt engine.

I have used the Novus products and they work very well. If your plastic windows are yellowed, or scratched it will do the job.

I rebuilt all of my coils with capacitors and points from Lang's and they preform fine. I have had 1 set of points that the top contact came off from the arm.

I am looking at a 1915 runabout. The engine number is 1150130. I believe that puts it around late March of 1916. So, I guess my question is, would it have the 1915 features such as brass radiator and light rings? What should I look for to determine whether it is a 1916 or a 1916?

I have been considering putting o-rings on mine. Glad to hear that it does work!

You do not need to remove the pedals or the hogshead, or the steering column. Lift the engine from the #3 spark plug hole and pull it forward out of the drive shaft. Then set it down and lift it from the #2 sparkplug hole. You can twist it around and lift it out. That is how I did my 26 Coupe.

I just received a Stipe 280 cam a week or so ago that I had ordered some time last year. Luckily, I was able find one for my build from another forum member.

Steve, those are definitely not 26-27 Roadster bows. Here is a picture of the bows on my 26 roadster.

Here is a picture of the seat in my 26 Coupe. The angle looks to be the same.

The northern part of the state is definitely flatter than the southern part.
