Re: Advice needed for touring rear window.

I don’t like “isinglass” sewn into long grain or copra top material. Indeed, I don’t know the difference in isinglass and clear plastic as offered today. Consequently I found a non Model T rear window metal frame, had it nickel plated and inserted real glass…whatta you think ? Colonel: what is the r...

Re: OT but not really. Scammers are getting very bold...

I’ve advertised very moderately here on the MTFCA Classifieds and every response I’ve received were bonafide interested T hobbiests. However, every respondent of my FS ads on the HCCA website are scammers with every method of operation as mentioned above.

Re: T pics

Once again; unique and interesting pictures. Thank you Tom. We’ve seen that ‘Man Without Hands’ here before. Was he wounded in WW I ? The runabout is a ‘16 but we didn’t commit Pershing’s AEF until 1917. So I’d be interested in the Iowa license plate date. Early twenties? Hands not lost in war ? And...

Howdy Ed,
…..Good question, so I’ve included these 3 pictures. If the measurements will fit your coil box, I’d be inclined to ask Brent Mize if he could ‘remodel’ the coil to work..gh

Re: Fender id please

I’d even go much earlier than ‘13. They’re squared front fenders but have the correct 4 rivet support bracket. ‘13 and ‘14 are more rounded fronts. These are examples of early and late ‘14 fenders

Re: A shed for my T

I’m with Tim Wren et al on this one. A friend used an unvented shipping container to store his wood cab TT truck in south central Texas. On our 110* days it has to be 150* inside that steel box. Anyway the wood spokes and cab became ultra brittle and the paint on the fenders/hood curled up.
