Re: What are you doing with your "T" in May

I recovered from yesterday’s electrical fiasco during the tour. I’d previously installed a 6v regulator from Birdhaven and it turns out it was defective- no charge at all even though the generator was set at full output. So, I “borrowed” a cutout from a fellow T tour participant but I didn’t dial ba...

Mendenhall Auto Museum, Buelton CA - Video and pics

We visited Mendenhall Auto Museum on Tuesday evening to top off day 2 of the Tour. What an experience. I got some really good video of the owner talking about the history of the place. I couldn’t believe we got all our cars parked inside. Here’s the link to the Video I put together https://youtu.be/...

Great pics! The Wisteria is pretty, but it grows like a weed, even more aggressive than honeysuckle, IMO. It sends runners along the ground and tendrils in the air that will wrap around any tree branches they touch. Just the way I’d want it to grow. The more the better! Such a beautiful plant and t...

If that scrolling message line isn't normal, just to let you know, it is showing up here too. I haven't tried opening any of it.
The news scroll is a new forum feature. It scrolls on all forums for a day and then only on the board index page after that.

Re: balancing beads

I just installed these in all 4 tires this past weekend. What a pain, but highly worth it. I used an air chisel wrapping the chisel end w/ a little duct tape and used it with an air pressure reducer set low enough that the chisel vibrated at just the right tempo as it rested against the valve stem t...

Re: Who decides what is "OFF TOPIC" and what is not about Model T????

Careful Dan, this post is off topic too. One more outburst like this and you may be exiled to "no topic", where you can post all you want, but no one will ever see it. Hmmm.... i think this thread is a healthy OT discussion and very much ON Topic. In fact, you can now find it in BOTH places. How's ...

Re: Who decides what is "OFF TOPIC" and what is not about Model T????

It appears that it's the poster and not the post that is the deciding factor for moving a thread to OT. I can certify this is absolutely not the case. For example why is the Model K thread not moved? The creation of the OT section is just another tweak that makes the new forum frustrating. because ...

Re: New Forum Feature and OFF Topic Forum created

I can tell you it was brutal trying to get this implemented. The coders don’t understand that there are still folks alive who don’t go by handles and still use their real names. Going forward I think they will add it as a standard feature instead of a custom coding solution. At least I can hope for ...

A little side story to go along with your miscreant behavior. Correct. Bbcode is off. Text is allowed. Offending existing signatures will be modified as I find them. It was being abused by some with lots of links or huge images and ads. Max of 2 links are allowed. A signature should be just that. A simple sentence. Not a place to advertise or post pics. AdminJ...

Finally I have stopped working on this one. After 170 hours it is not getting any better. I will turn it to the wall for a few months and then decide if I like it. I love it. Make sure you’re on the forum in the PM area and you should be able to respond. Emails you might get are just notifications that there is something on the forum waiting for you.
