The fall meet is pretty small. Not much T stuff. Just mostly will be a part here or there. But you never know who may be bringing Dads or Grandpa's hoard to sell. I always go but, I live about 55 miles away. If driving far probably not worth the trip for T stuff.

Re: Some more Chickasha pics and finds
The Grade-O-meter or Incline-O-meter were also sold to automobile owners. I have seen them in some of my vintage camping catalogs. We do vintage camping and show our T and antique camping gear at modern overland camping expos or rendezvous. We will mount this grade-o-meter on our T to be one more of...

Re: Final set of Chickasha pictures
Adam, I agree. The attendance is off, but I have never went and not sold enough to pay for the spaces and trip, as well as making enough to get everything I bought basically free. We camp on the spaces, so we are there every minute available to shop and sell. I have sold stuff as late as 10.30 PM. S...

Re: Some more Chickasha pics and finds
I think Steve did pretty good. The last two pic are of our truck and trailer and Steve just before he started to load up. We left about 2:15 Saturday. Steve, Gene French, US, and a guy from Colorado were the last ones out. We shut the door. I have said for many many years that the vendors who leave ...

Some more Chickasha pics and finds
Here are a few pics I took while at Chickasha and also some of my finds. My two favorite finds are the speedster body and the Wakasha intake ... The speedster body may be the next speedster project. Anyone interested in another 6-year long project :) thats how long it took to do the last one I did o...

Re: No pictures from Chickasha?
Just got home. I'll post some pics in a day or two. Got to heal up first :) I sold a ton of stuff and bought a ton of stuff. Found a few real treasures. As usual I found my treasures after climbing in the trailers, digging deep, while most folks were standing beside the trailer just looking at me di...

Re: Correct front engine mount for a 1927 Touring
The photo TRDxB2 shows above is the complete and correct 26-27 assembly. The TT truck has larger diameter studs on the Y-bracket. I believe they are 11/16 from memory. The steel plate with the two U-bolts is an aftermarket accessory. When the Y-bolt style with 2 nuts came out to replace the earlier ...

Dan, can you post a picture of the cover of that catalog. I did not see it in any of my catalogs. I'll have to look again. What page is it on. Thanks for posting ..

Trent, very nicely done. It may be a lot of work. But now you have a very seldom seen tool.

Re: Wanted, running board tent bed.
Linus, We already have a nice umbrella tent that we actually use. It sets up quick and the canvas part stores nicely in the rear floor board. The tent poles are in a canvas roll and are the exact length of the rear bumper on the 27 touring we use for vintage camping. I mostly want a running board te...

Wanted, running board tent bed.
I would like to find a running board tent bed. There were a few different manufactures of them but most are similar to each other. The ones I have seen photos or ads for usually are a light metal framework that folds down into a compact shape that fits on the running board. When erecting the unit it...

Re: unusual "Stevens" tool, guess what it is. specifications added to post
Here are the specs for the cam bearing splitter. I had to use my camera because my scanner was hit by lightening :( The first pic shows up pretty good, but I made three close ups just in case it was hard for someone to read the first photo. The double head rivet is a loose sloppy fit so the 2 halves...

Re: unusual "Stevens" tool, guess what it is
John. Sounds like you did a good job. I also figured welding two square or rectangle pieces together would be the easiest way to fab it. Sorry about taking so long to get the specs done. I have the drawing done and most of the measurements on it. But it seems like everything on the farm needed fixed...

Don't forget to do the third "same place" photo after the fenders are on it and completed. The car looks real good.
