Howdy all, I have had this gas powered battery charger/jump starter for many years and it has always worked good, it came off of an older heavy duty tow truck back in the 70's. What it sounds like you have is a misfire code ie; P0301-P0306 what that is telling you is that cylinder isn't firing for some reason, there is a number of things that can cause that from spark plug, coil, injector to wiring and lastly the ECM. Also a mechanical problem can also cause a misfire. Che...

Steve, Have you checked the fuel quality? If it was a problem before and sat while you refreshed the engine it is now even older, old fuel and ethanol don't start well, even "fresh" fuel may be reaching the end of it's shelf life when you buy it. Good luck you will get it.

You use Ultra Black for a lot of other purposes, why not when you have the pan off clean the inside where the horse shoes go and stick it in place with Ultra Black and run the bolts down to hold it tight in place. Re: Share Your Tractor(s) - old ones that is ;-)
Duey, I think it might have looked better in the first picture, it is a 67 with 250,000 miles on it and all stock, 6 cyl, 4spd, 4x4 manual steering, a real plain jane, it hasn't even gotten a radio (yet).

Anyone from Northeast Oregon?
Howdy, We are planning a trip in August to Northeast Oregon and wondering if there are any Model Ters in that neck of the woods to maybe visit and get advise on good places to go. We are thinking of using the Joseph area as a base. There will be 4 cars and 7 people, we all have rv's with car trailer...

Mine is a old Atlas that came out of the Nasa shop at Moffett field a long time ago, I got it out of a retired from Nasa machinist that had it stored in his chicken shed, it even came with the original manuals.

It was many years ago but I found sealed bearings front and rear and then removed the inner seal so the bearing would oil from the inside but seal to the outside that really helped to hold the oil in the trans.

I use GL4 140w in my Muncies and Ruckstells, GL4 doesn't have a lot of sulfur that can damage bronze bushings.

An old radiator repair man told me years ago to put a about 4 table spoons of ground ginger in a cup of hot water, run the car until it's up to temp and pour it in and run it for a while, it has worked many times for me. I go to the Dollar store and get my ginger there, I always carry a small bottle...

Fastenal shipping
I am working with another T guy trying to get a Muncie trans from Oregon to Virginia and he was told by the people at Fastenal that until further notice they will not be shipping anything in or out of the Northwest, I don't know why just that for now they aren't.

Engine # makes it a 1925, I don't know TT's well enough to know the difference in years, it has 21 in front wheels and 20 in rear (no rear rims) has cowl and part of a wood cab (don't know what is missing). Engine turns over, had the cover off of trans (26-7) and it looks real good inside, has Ford ...

Did Muncie make a aux trans for a T that doesn't have overdrive? My friend just installed a Muncie in his pickup and it seems to have super under, under and direct. I have never run into this before. I am thinking maybe built for a TT.

I have run all different kinds of cam gears and never had a problem with any of them. They ran fiber cam gear on Chevy 6 cylinders for years and there is a lot more stress on them than a Model T. The only reason that I think of that a fiber or a nylon gear would give a problem is if when the main be...

My 52 chevy pickup and 63 Ranchero won't hardly start on ethanol fuel and the Ranchero idles poorly but put non ethanol in and they start right up and idle well, I can even tell the difference in one of my Ts.
