Right there with you Don! I assembled mine yesterday. I used some antisieze between each leaf. That graphite paint dries but still makes your hands slick handling the springs.

I have most of the suspension parts rebuilt and painted. Assembled the springs today. Waiting to get the frame blasted and front axle. After those are painted it all goes back under the roadster pichup aka Swamp Donkey.

Randy, I am in the process of pulling a 22 engine and installing a correct 26 engine in my roadster puckup. Maybe they would be interested in it. Runs good but if you are restoring the truck the engine should be rebuilt. I have been a firefighter for 35 years so I get the big red truck thing!

Bingo Fred. It pits the carb such as my small engines . White goop is whats left after the reaction to whatever is in the fuel. Aluminum carbs is all I have ever had a problem with.

I cut a groove with a dremel tool with a cutting wheel in both the timer body 1/2 and the top 1/2 of the hole that broke off just wide enough to fit a small flat washer into and deep enough the two halve...

Reading some of the complaints on line, it sounds like another story on the dad started the business and had a steller reputation and then the son took over and it went down hill from there.

I found brass cotter pins in the front spring perch castle nuts on the doner chassis. At least they were not rusted in. The castle nuts were 1/2 gone with rust. It still amazes me that nuts rusted that bad turn right off.
