Re: Rear end housings need transportation.

Hi, still need a ride for the housings from harbor city to Northern California near Grass Valley.
Also have a brass radiator to ad to the pile. Anyone heading this way that can help would be greatly appreciated. I'd be glad to pay for the trip.

Re: Rear end housings need transportation.

Hi Ed, thanks for the post. Hayward is still a distance from me. Kim is in Harbor City a few hours south of Visalia. A little too much driving for a model t part. The mtfca is an amazing club, so many great people always willing to help. Thanks again, I really appreciate the offer.

Rear end housings need transportation.

Good morning,. I have a pair of rear end housings at Kim Dobbins that need a ride to Northern California. I'm in the foothills near Grass Valley, but can meet you on the interstate, either I-80 or I- 5 . Glad to pay for your time and gas.

Re: Later flywheel fit in narrow pan?

Thank you everyone for your input. I'm a little confused now, so there were 3 square hole aluminum hogshead sizes? 16" , 16 1/4" and 16 3/4" ? I'd like to build the engine with a starter ring gear. My idea was when I get tired of cranking in a few years, I could swap out the pan and hogshead to a la...

Re: Hard crank on my 1909 touring.

Hi Tony, Erik Barrett has a lathe setup that he straightens rear axle housings with. You should contact him. He routinely uses it whenever it rebuilds a rear axle.
Hope this helps.

I'm with you Tim, we had the same idea you beat me by a few minutes. I'm sure we're just a couple of the many thinking the same thing

I'd like to propose all of us in the old car Hobie come together on this.

Let's show what American get it done spirit is all about!

Since the chickasha swap meet is postponed, and Bakersfield in question, how about having a swap meet online? (Click-A-Shay) I know that may seem a little silly since we have this forum available everyday, but we could open up our mtfca site to all prewar parts for a few weeks. Executive order of so...

Re: Period Picture- Hump"T"y Dump"T"y

My guess is 1 yard of concrete in each dump, that's a lot of weight hanging out there! I yard weighs a little over 4000# it looks like a very dry mix, I wonder if there are any counter weights on the other side we don't see.
Have a great day, Mike
