Re: Model T Coils -- Electric Fence
The Model T cattle prod idea was very effective in getting kids on the bus in my day. I am fortunate, as an employer, to have the kind of environment where employees are motivated by the team and mission. I think many people forget how frugal Americans used to be. It was not that uncommon, even into the 60's for people to buy bottom-of-the- -barrel model cars, and then load them up with select options that they specifically wanted. My 58 Plymouth is a great example. Base model Plaza sedan ... monoton...

Pat's mention of the stripper 62 Biscayne is similar to the 58 Plaza that took me 40 years to find. Back in the 1970's, I was more into finned Buicks than Mopars, and had found a flawless turquoise interior in a 60 Invicta at Ray's Auto Wrecking. During the period when mushroom stands were a common sight about
the Tri-Burg area, Cuthbert did a lot of patrolling with the zebra dun mule.
The vanadium misted shoes gave the beast a precise grip and sure footing,
ideal for roads less patrolled.

Re: Is this outdated?
Walk this out a little bit .... the Cobra reference .... A friend of mine owns a 66 example of this car. I found it and he bought it, with help from his parents, in 1981, for the princely sum of $45K. We were just out of high school, and he already had a 67 GT500. Today, both cars are paperweights, ...

I follow Steve's process, skipping the phosphoric acid and baking steps.
While I want SOME paint there, I am not interested in making "perfect"
looking parts on a truck, where my aesthetic objective is a "barn fresh"
look. I paint them to match the other well preserved, but unrestored
parts present.

They don't push easily, period. In neutral, with an aux. trans is as easy as it can make it. But expect one to want to stay right where it sits, without some "Oomph!" thrown at it. Mine rolls pretty easy, now that I have gone through everything, but it is nowhere near as easy as when I put it up on ...

According to the catalogue, Wormy offered advice in a 3-tier program. The Deluxe package was said to be pretty sketchy, with vagueries that might lead the user to ruin. On the flip side, Carl Casual took it, and combined with the complimentary vanadium salts, took 3rd prize at the 1927 event, sponso...

Probably the best way to find the leak is just look at the T. If you see
a T, you have found the leak, or MANY leaks !
Best way to get rid of the leak is to sell the T and get a Tesla.

7 years I have owned this TT of mine. Never had a T before. Never drove someone else's, or was ever around them, except to see them in fields, barns, or going down the road. So, self-schooling on how they are "supposed to" operate has proven interesting at times. Upon delivery, I had a helluva worko...
