I had no reference to reset the angles between the two ends of the rod when re-fastening the one end. On the later fixed end rods, is there a simple way to make this setting,...

Never turn a screw or bolt if it has a nut. Always hold the head hard with a well fitting driver and turn the nut. If it is a screw only, tap it as you turn in to assist breaking it loose, then tap as you loosen it.

Hello John,
All machine parts values are based on specs. What is the mic size of the shaft and what is the irregularity of the drum face? I may be interested based on those.
Thank you,
Ken

Mark, I have bought a few of those items from Chaffins to rebuild Ruckstells. What are the specs of the shaft fitment and what do the inside surface and the shaft surface look like? If they are within 1 or 2 thou wear, I am interested.

Thank you Mark. I have two Rootlieb hoods in boxes. The aluminum early one is 23 & 5/8" for a speedster. The steel one is 24 & 3/4" and for a '17 - '23. I apologize to you and the forum for jumping without the knowledge, so these are still available. On the other hand, jumping is what we do. No hook...

Re: turtle deck key, drag link and more
Melba,
There are many different drag links and must not be misfitted. What is the length of the one you have. Is the socket tight to a 1" ball? Are the threads clear and sharp? If yours is 30 3/4" and the rest is as described above, please write to me.

On May 24, 3000.00 worth of parts was sent by UPS to me in Canada. The vendor posted my phone number and email on the order and that I was self clearing the brokerage. On May 31, I got a sticker on my door stating I owed 771.57, including 226.66 brokerage plus tax on brokerage. For me, taxes on the ...

Try loosening the nut, tighten the puller with a lot of pressure, and drive it until it pops.
