Where to purchase some? 26/27 open car dash panel screws. Don’t see them on the vendors sites. These need to be correct as they are in your face all the time. Cannot have tacky modern fasteners there. 😁

Even with the dashboard and fuel tank out it’s a bear. I am glad I started to tackle this before I mounted the fuel tank and dash. I never gave it a thought, usually I’m the one doing things 3 or 4 times to get it done. 😁

Cowl lacing 26/27

Radiator shell turned out pretty nice. Cowl lacing looks self explanatory except for the 2 at the bottom. Bottom looks easy as the back is easy to get to so the rivet can be split. The next one up seems like a rigid nail. What is the fix for that one? F8DCBFDB-EEE8-4ADD-B3BF-D14E6D2F541F.jpeg BC8332...

COVID

Ron Miller of miller’s machine shop in shandon Ohio is in the hospital this week with COVID. He has been up and down and we are praying for him. He helped me get into this hobby a few years ago and is a good friend. I am sure a bunch of you know him.

Pics above in the thread show the finished product with all belts in place. It was using his homemade shelf, but belt placement is about the same

Re: The Old Fashioned Way

I agree with Steve on this one. I buy a lot of parts on this site. I think the seller deserves to be contacted the way the seller asks to be contacted. Some like email, some like a phone call, some like a pm, and in my area of the country a hand shake and eye contact are everything. Its a sign of r...

Again, scammers will not pm you
I still don’t get why anyone is having pm issues. Pm is like texting on your phone. Emails sometimes go into the junk box depending on how your spam filters are setup. That’s where you really lose communication

Re: What lube do you use on your Rajo or other overhead

I don't see radiator support rods in the 2 pics. Yellowracer, hard to tell from your pic. Have you modified your rods for clearance to remove the valve cover? Or remove the rod to pull the cover? I am setting the hood on my racer/speedster and running a chevy head. Mine seems to fall within an inch ...

I understand those who don’t like the technology and I respect that. I have to deal with emails and texts as part of my business daily . I also deal with customers on a handshake still.
I love you all.

Why wouldn’t you want to log in? You have to be logged in to create a post, whether in the for sale section or otherwise. If you are logged in to create the post you will see your PM alert. I don’t understand It is easy to skip over a email with so much junk emails as you are deleting them. There is...

Re: Watchout

PM's work, keep your pm account clean and erase old PM's. Works the same as a email account when it gets full. There is no rule on here to respond by email only. This is the sellers choice. I have never had a PM not go through and I email to the persons that wish that type of response. Tell me why y...
