Which is really too bad. This would have been a great time for MTFCA to move into the 21st century and try to bring in a younger audience. Instead we keep pushing the DVD collection.......

Webinar suggestions
by
Emmo213 » Sat Jun 06, 2020 12:47 pm
If you're looking for suggestions to help new model T owners I'd like to recommend a webinar going over safety aspects, including going through the safety checklist. It could also include how to check the wood wheels to make sure they're safe.

Just a call-out to the HCCT fellows that might host a Webinar or do a pre-recorded walk-thru on the HCCT for us fellas that want to see how it works for you.
HOT coils are HOT coils no matter how they're done. Vroom!
They sure make a difference! True.

This may become a regular thing. We got the kinks worked out last Sunday and several members attended so it worked out really well. For us.
The next one is this Saturday 4/18/2020 at 10:00AM, PST featuring Tony Bowker giving us a tour of his garage, his 1909 project, and some of his antique tools. Register and tune in Live!

I thought the MTFCA Webinar today went very well. I would have thought that if it had been the tenth or twentieth, but it was the first and managed to go well without any glitches. As always, compliments to the Poobah Team!
I look forward to the next one (as well as to the official opening of the new webpage).

Pretty simple, you share your screen and play the video on your computer.
Share Screen is on the bottom menu when you roll your mouse down there.

Anybody able to get the webinar thing to work?? I wasted way too much time trying to get signed up, signed in, have to join Zoom, whatever that is, typed my email address half a dozen times and clicked on link after link, they want everything from my name to whatever.
I'm off to the shop.

Many thanks to all who contributed to the webinar. It was great to see Azevedo again.
Up until about 6 weeks ago, I saw Larry twice a week.

Great Start
by

The Puget Sound Chapter has used the vanilla version of Zoom for casual Thursday morning coffee gatherings (these were in a restaurant before). With...
