Built a '15 speedster years ago and wrapped the Fordite wheel with overlaps of friction tape, then applied coat of clear spar varnish. Looked good and felt like a race car in my hands. :D

Ok, last one before bed.

The transmission had a fair bit of oil leaking on it from where oil leaked past the shift fork rails since they exit the housing in two places each. The paint seemed to hold up to the oil well in some places but other places the paint peeled away in sheets (primer and all). I think that the iron casting is rather porous...

The folks who built this T Touring actual had more money in the parts, exhaust system, engine and the rest of the drive train than what this poor original T Touring was worth in its original as found condition. If you’ve got the money anything goes. I guess??

The RHD car is a Duncan and Fraser built car. Typical features are the crowned mudguards, curved cowl and brass cowl vents, one piece frameless windscreen and cast brass windscreen pillars Side lights put it at 1913-14.

The above picture of the transmission shows it is an up to 1925 block and transmission and band, not 1926-27.
It is a matched set and goes together.
The magneto ring coil could really use to be rewrapped but that will open up a barrel of snakes for you.

Serial numbers and engines got swapped around as these vehicles passed through their service...

Forget the short straight edge. A taut string line will give a better over-all indication of any sag in the frame. Takes only a few minutes to do, and can be quite revealing! There is no better time to make corrections than when the frame is bare.

Allan is correct although the photo doesn't show it very well. The felloe on the left is loose lug but when I bought the car there was a fixed-lug rim mounted to the wheel. No two wheels were alike on my car when I bought it so I've spent some time acquiring felloes that match. Even so, I have a pair of Hayes on the front and Ford's on the back....

That wishbone that takes normal nuts is the very first version of under-the-axle-wishbone . If you own a '22 then it migrated there from an earlier car some time in the past.

Chris, I am wondering if the difference between your '24 and '26 on the spring cup clearance is from the different width brake drum and push ring?

New spokes are too easy to install for you to waste valuable time and effort trying to restore spokes that are too far gone and dangerous…

Well, I'll confirm your suspicions about white lithium.
When I tore down my TT in the 80's I had to store machined parts until I had the money to restore. That was one of the recommendations then, greased up and wrapped in oil cloth.

That rim is indeed a Canadian rim. The give away is the pair of holes in the side of the rim each side of the split. These are there to accommodate a special tool used to split the rim. There are two similar pieces on each side of the split, like T model door hinges. A pin fites between the two pieces when the rim is properly, just like the hinge...

Gulf T's is disbanded, it was Kathy Tagert I was in contact with. Several from that club attend events organized by a South GA group, there was one last Fall in Tallahassee I missed, unfortunately.
My '14 wasn't local, it lived its life in Michigan, but nice to know there may be another '14 close by.

Finding a 55 210 2dr Chevrolet in good shape isn’t easy to find! Lot of those were hot rodded when I was in HS in the later 60’s. By now when you find one they are usually just a shell of a body at the end of the road. When you find one it definitely won’t be real cheap if it’s in decent shape.

Knock off wire wheel hubs are designed to support the wheel both at the inner flange, and over the hub nut. Almost all hubs are dramatically reduced in size in the center as they rely on the tapered axle to reinforce strength to the outboard end. I would be very skeptical of any original rear hub adapted to mount only from the inner flange.

It's a tool for ease of removing and reinstalling the hogshead using your choice of hoist, gantry, cherry picker, rope, chain, etc. There is an eyelet or hook that bolts to the top of it.

The stub on the right is a handle. A stub is not required for the left side because you can use the pedals as a handle.

There are enough parts to build up some good chassis to be sure. If you’re a tinkerer this is Model T Heaven. Model T Haven sold all parts they had. Could this be some of those or someone else’s. I’ll bet there are good rear axle Hyatt bearings in those rear ends.

Some nice Model T’s have been built up from worse parts than these.
