Fred, the manual/automatic advance has to do with the head used. The non generator unit pictured has the advance operated by a cable from the dash. T units use a bell crank to the control rod. I believe Mark Chaffin still manufactures nice repo Bosch units at a reasonable price. As pointed out in earlier posts, replacement parts for the AK units...

Here is an unusual Norman Rockwell/ Ford puzzle.
The painting these puzzles were made from were made for Ford 50 year anniversary. We all have seen the prints, they were given away to Ford dealers and the dealers gave them away.

This wheel has been sanded and polished. Unfortunately it dropped and cracked, not into two pieces but completely through one area. The crack has been repaired with JB Weld Plastic Bonder and seems as strong as it was before. The spider was bead blasted and painted with epoxy enamel. Overall a decent wheel.

This is a neat Electric Klaxonet horn. Just like a hand operated but electric driven. I hit it real quick with 12 volts and it works. Very loud! The bell looks like it was nickel plated but some has worn off. Appears to be brass underneath.

I am selling an original late 1911 or 1912 radiator removed from our late 1911 touring car. It does not have rivets on neck, nor the gas tube on the back side of the radiator, so that appears to date it to late 1911 or early 1912.

If you intend to drive this car, the later 5:1 steering is recommended. A 26/27 complete column is inexpensive, where this provides you with the 5:1 gears and the upper steering shaft parts. Unusual set of brass hood latches that came off a late 1912 early 1913 touring car. These latches are the double ear solid brass latches. Some will argue that they only produced the single ear brass in 1912 and switched to the steel double ear in 1913 but these were the original Latches on the car and they are not reproductions.

Newly fabricated irons as close as I can get them. Had a foundry pour the blocks as Henry did. Also have the individual pieces for those bent ones. The ones everybody grabs hold of to get in! Top bows and header included. The price is 1850.00 plus shipping. Welcome to inquire on separate pieces. These fit the 30-31deluxe roadster...

Here is a Rubes reed that is double threaded. This is correct for late 12-14. The reed is placed on the bulb end.
This came out of an original Rubes rubber bulb.
I think the threads are the 41/64 x27 but could be wrong.
The other sleeve end still has some horn tubing remnants inside.

Holley “G” Three-screw top cover plate. “Pat. Dec. 22, 1914” cast in the cover plate. I have not opened it up.
Appears to be a nice solid rebuildable core. Choke and throttle shafts move freely.

Hi Jennifer,
There is more combustion pressure & less oil at the top of the cylinder so the rings tend to cause more wear @ the top.
The rings don't travel all the way down the cylinder so there is also less wear @ the bottom Of the cylinder. Excessive
taper will cause the rings to flex & break or not make good contact with the cylinder leading...

The old trailer is ugly but solid. With different wheels stuck on it I towed it home and it pulled smooth and straight. It comes with an old set more 16 inch rims that have T hubs welded on. I have had them on and they run pretty well. I was going to fix it up but I have enough projects. $300
