To what do you attribute the United States' woeful state of vulnerability today? Our military has suddenly become inept in your opinion? Our nukes have gone stale? Our Air Force is out of air? The army is out of bullets?

Our military? Mis-used, mis-led, probably under-funded and under-supplied. Nukes? Do you really want to go there? We'd damned well better be sure we have many other options. It would be nice to have a department of state and diplomatic corps that put American interests first, and a reasonable level of border security. A strong, diverse economy would be nice to have. A strong, diverse economy, which includes all types of manufacturing, is necessary to support a strong military, and active and secure production of raw materials is also essential.

If the army is out of bullets, they can get more from the Socialists Security Administration.

Do you have examples of how our military is misused and misled to the point of un-readiness in the event of an attack? And you feel the Pentagon is underfunded? Really? That's laughable. I mean really, truly laughable. Do you know who is #2 in military spending behind the US? Do you know how far behind the US spending they are? And our military is also undersupplied in your opinion? What specifically do you fear they are missing? Are they dangerously low on $600 hammers? And perhaps more $10,000 toilet seats are urgently needed?

And yes, just between us we can talk nukes. You know their purpose is for national defense in response to nuclear attack, right? Are you under the impression we're undersupplied with nukes, too? Is it your feeling the US doesn't have enough conventional bombs to deter a lesser, non-nuclear threat?

In what way do you envision the State Department is not putting US interests sufficiently "first"? You mention border security as a major concern; how many illegals have been rounded up (in real numbers, not made up ones) and deported annually? Are you still frightened by the "caravans" of criminals advancing on our southern border? The ones that vanished the moment the polls closed in 2016? We recently had an administration promising to build a wall the full length of our border with Mexico (and Mexico was going to pay for it, of course, remember that?), but that turned out to be just another scam - with four years and billions of tax dollars wasted and millions more stolen by since-convicted "Whitehouse advisors".

What, in your mind, are indicators of a strong economy? Do we not have that now? I heard quite a lot about our reassuringly strong economy between 2017 and 2021. Did we somehow lose it recently? If so, what changed? Specifics, please, if you can supply any. Corporate profits are smashing historical records at never-before seen rates.

You will likely take umbrage over the mention that American manufacturing was sold out by capitalists 40 years ago and it was facilitated by a willing populace. Americans wanted cheaper goods and you know what? TVs made overseas are cheaper! You want a "...strong, diverse economy, which includes all types of manufacturing...", go buy only American goods and see how it works for you. Go buy an American made TV today. Go buy an American iPad or phone or sprinkler heads or tools or clothes or anything else. Production of those fine consumer goods was moved away from these shores for one simple reason; greed.

By your silly insult lobbed at the Social Security Administration, referring to it as "Socialist Security..." (which doesn't actually supply the military with ammunition, btw, but it facilitated your punch line), is that a reliable clue you feel Social Security is somehow is anti-American or otherwise undesirable and worthy of scorn? Do you now reject, or do you plan to reject Social Security benefits in the future? Can we also toss Medicare on the high pile of "socialist" schemes you plan to eschew on moral grounds? Would it be for the better, in your opinion, if "Socialist Security" was abolished, as so many good conservative politicians have suggested?

We left a lot behind in Afghanistan, or so it's said. I believe we should avoid being in a situation where nuclear weapons are our only option. $600.00 hammers? Obvious mismanagement, I'd say. I'm not going to attempt to review sundry newscasts and discussions, including considerable discussions by retired military personel, that have been available to anyone who cared to pay attention over the last several decades. As for Socialists' Security, I despise it. Your opinion may differ. So be it.

As of September, CBP has encountered and stopped 2,150,370 illegal immigrants crossing the border so far in FY22

It is estimated that this represents 68% of all individuals who attempted to get in.

For those who are math-challenged:

if 68% are caught, and the count is 2,150,370 caught, that means that there are somewhere around 1,011,939 who made it into the interior of the country thus far in '22. For just this past September, there were 182,704 (CPB number) interdictions alone. We're way past caravans...we're talking tsunamis of attempts to breach our borders. Real numbers. Real invaders.

CBP agents are committing suicide in record numbers.

That is an invasion, and Americans are dying.

But fear not. The Department of Homeland Security continues to insist that the border is secure. Where is a Winston Churchill figure when you need him?

Japan declared war, very shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor. I suppose since Mexico and the 100 other countries who are supplying the invaders have not declared war on us, we still don't recognized as such. Ask a Texas or Arizona border rancher about it, and he can clear up anyone's fuzzy thinking.

Think B.R.A.C. (the base re-alignment and closure) they have closed so many bases that our forces are again concentrated into local areas in stead of being spread out. Just punch in the Lat/Long of a base in an ICBM even with a conventional warhead and most of our military might could be wiped out in the first round then take on the few ships at sea and wallah !
