The rear spring configuration is just like the Buick Model 10 and some larger and later models had. I can't find pictures to show that oil pan and flywheel but I am leaning towards it being a Buick.
Any other theories?

Goll, that WOULD be fun to crunch thru the gears and cruise...
Always had the insane idea of a slower turning, long stroke tractor engine in a speedster.
Funky how speedsters still stir us. The open flywheel really does it for me as I have some tractors almost like that...
