Bingo! It's about a 1920. At some point the back was cut off and made into a pickup. The next owner ether was able to find the original back half and partly remounted to frame or another. The front axle with wood wheels is sitting in front of it.

The gas tank gave it away. The round Dodge Brothers gas tanks are unique. Appears to be a solid car mechanically.

We have been working on a Model T for the owner. There are lots of extra parts that his Dad bought over the years up in the loft over it. I have not taken time to really look close at it except to take a few photos, sit in the drivers seat (no springs) and crank it over. I like Dodge products from the first one I had, 1946 1 ton. It was bought new by our neighbor and I bought it for $75 and drove in High School. My first car was a truck and now I have 4 pickups (3 Ford's and a Chevy)!

My T friend Lloyd has a 23 DB with a full set of Hasslers on it, this is only the second set I've known about.

The fronts may have been on the car but did not get put back on, have not seen them kicking around the place(yet). Right now there is just a bolt going thru the eyes. We get so use to things like Hasslers that we don't even think of them made for other brands. Like I need another car, this one may be coming my may. :D I did check the gas tank while we were over there today, some light rust but no real sign of old gas in it. His Dad's note indicate that there might be top bows, I think I saw some in the loft. The car does have the rare top rest in the rear tub, not all cars came with them from what I have found out. They don't screw into the side like the later T's, more like the earlier T's, they are mounted under the seat cover. His Dads notes list it as a 1920 but the engine was swapped at some time and is Sept of 1921. There are about 3 or 4 more engines kicking around there, maybe the original is one of those. Will see what the title says.

Thank you. Right now I have been doing some preliminary studying on cost( ) and getting info. The Dodge Facebook page looks pretty active although they had a crash and lost over 2000 member that were sighed up and are now rebuilding. Also have been to the AACA site, looks like another good one and is active. The Dodge Club page is deadsville! Who ever did the page, man they made it hard to use. On some pages, like shipping invoices, they only cover one dealer. That one and others there is "no" what is in the link info so you have to open each one to see what it contains. I think that someone did a lot of work but it's like they didn't finish it all the way, it's just a file number and when down loaded to the page.

Dodge parts are more expensive than Ford Parts, and harder to find, but there are a lot of them out there--just not as easy to find! I'd say my '16 DB touring car has enough metal in it to make three model Ts!
