I’ll answer my own question. Found another pic of it that showed the emblem on the radiator. It’s a Scripps Booth (company existed 1913-1923, absorbed by GM).
But what year ? The kewl V-radiator was abandoned by 1921. The kid in white is my Uncle Mike.

Here is my buddys 21 Scripps Booth. One of two known to exist. Untouched original. Hidded in a chicken coupe during WW II scrap drives.

They were not made very long. We met the grandson of Mr Booth at OCF as he had a SB roadster there. If I recall correct there are around 85 total SB cars known to exist today. I will have to send him your photo. Thanks Rich.

This maybe one of the quite rare V-8's Scripps made a very neat V-8 not large like the Lincolns and Cadillacs. A few years ago one showed up in Bakersfield as a cute speedster. He toured the grounds and I gotta say it sounded very cool. If I could find a Scripps V-8 engine I would build a neat speedster around it.

I’d still like to know the year of the car in the pic I posted. Mighty interesting, that V-8 ! Thanks for the look under the hood, Rich.

Looking at the Scripps Booth registry (2006) there is 1- 1918 Touring and 7-1919s. '15-17 shows Roadsters only and 1920s had the flat radiator. It probably has the Northway 6 cylinder engine that came out in '18.
That may narrow it down a little.

My buddy also has this SB cut down for a power unit. They both have the Northway 6. I thought it interesting.

That is a delightful rear axle with plenty of lumps and cross shafts. :D
