Return of the Drive In Theatre

One of the side effects of Covid19 is the return of Drive In Theatres. By staying in their cars, folks are able to maintain social distancing, a new Drive In is opening in Chico (CA) this week. Apparently they are sold out for the first nights!
Is this also happening near you?

Yes, we have two in our town, one in St. Antony and one in Driggs that have stayed in business since the 50's apparently. They are doing quite well now.
When did I do that?

We have the only one in the Houston area near My place. and the other night going West on 2920 it had traffic backed up for three miles with folks waiting to get into the place and the line starts about two hours before dark. They plan on building a number of new mini drivein's in select Walmart parking lots. They use a vacant fm radio frequency for the Movie sound. Seems like the air quality could get below par with most of the cars running their engines and a/c
