Hi, I am looking for some round head, slotted machine screws #14 size, 24 thread pitch--an old standard but not common nowadays. I have done "google search and get nowhere--they keeps showing me 12-24 screws which is NOT what I am looking for nor what I put in the search engine. AAAAAUGH!!
I only need about a dozen, length isn't critical as I only need 1/2" long or even 3/8" long. These hold the visor on a steam locomotive headlight.
Thanks!!!

David Dewey

Just a few left according to that list. That is who I got my #8-36's from. They have a minimum order but are good to deal with. I dealt with Jay. Give him a try. He might know who has them if he doesn't.
When did I do that?

Maybe these could be modified to work? I can't tell from the picture if it's slotted or Phillips.

Ah, I forgot about the bendix cover screws. I think they will work perfectly--not brass, but OK.
