I sure hope the old rascal is OK. I sent an email after the last thread with no response. Bud was always good about posting, and we shared email frequently.

Some people are not computer savy like me so it took me a while to get signed up. It has been cold in Michigan and the corn burner has been hungry, right Bud!

I received an email response from him and Dianne a few weeks ago. They are in Florida, and Bud only has his cell phone. He was having difficulty signing in with the phone, and planned to be back on the new forum once they return home. -Ed

Hmmmm....back when I sold Machinery all through Michigan...most of my Michiganders tended to swarm up in the Dunedin area of the Florida gulf coast for winter break. Actually, almost all...it was a Michigan thing!

If still true and someone knows Buds whereabouts, I’m only a couple of miles south...and would love to crash his party 😆😆😆

So Bud's in Florida? I wonder if he's on the Winter tour in St. Augustine?
If anyone on the tour is reading this, can you post if Bud is on the tour?
Thanks,

Dallas,I heard it was very cold and a call was a stroke of good luck for me to get fuel oil to avoid frozen pipes! The Maxwell and it's owner were one of two things i liked about the show as it seemed a mess! One fellow had a very large oil field engine mounted of a school buss frame and it was driven in the show.Hard to believe sleeping with windows open in warm Fla i missed the warm glow and hum of the corn stove! Hi Bud, I'm glad you were found, It seemed that you were lost. Ok now for the important stuff, What can you tell us about the Maxwell? I have and AB two cylinder that I am working on. I recently found out that George House also has a 2 cylinder AA.

Bud, It's good to hear that you're ok and had a good time at Flywheeler Park. We've been to Flywheeler several times and always enjoy it. Did you see the Model T Put together? We always enjoyed that and I participated in it also.

Best wishes to you and Diane.

I know very little about the Maxwell except as a 1909 i was shocked to see a two cyl air cooled engine? Keith,We saw the field but missed the time! I have a hard time walking and when i asked on line about a golf cart i was told you had to be handicaped to use one? I think the 4 of us were the only people who did not use one and we had trouble avoiding them! The old engine show in Buckly,Mi has 20 times the steam,10 times the tractors, and a Snow engine twice the size of the one in the Fla park. The shuttle into and out was part way and the in park i saw it once! I never saw any old cars driven and what few there were were parked in what looked like old time car lots.Like most things i'm glad we saw it once, but we will never go back! Bud.

Bud, They would have rented you a golf cart..... it's who's willing to pay $80.00 a day that counts. The Model T Put together is fun, you would have enjoyed it. I was on the team when we set a record = 2 minutes and 19 seconds, I think. That's from starting from a bare frame to a '26 Roadster Pickup that's assembled, running and driving! Of course, there's a few shortcuts, like no water in it, no top on it, wire wheels with only 1 lugnut, etc. But it's a good crowd pleaser.

The car lot you saw at Flywheeler is "Wild Bill's Used Up Car Lot", run by Bill Portier. Bill also does the narration for the Model T Put together. Bill is a good guy and avid Model T'er. He is getting up there though.

I hope to run into you and Diane sometime this summer.

Best wishes,

Keith
