Touring Body, Please Help ID

Post by Ruxstel24 » Thu Jan 14, 2021 2:53 pm

A friend found this while looking at a 27 T...
Looks to be larger than a T. Anyone have an idea ?
The cowl lights are electric....

I don't recognize the cowl lights or windshield style. I am wondering if it is from a car made outside the U. S.
Rich
When did I do that?

More clues possibly ? Is it sitting on a chassis ? Could the chassis belong to it ? If so, are there any earmarks that could identify the chassis ? There appears to be fenders inside the body (cream colored) if they belong to the body perhaps they will help with an identification. Fun to find such stuff and puzzle over it ! Thanks for posting.

Rich B.
I posted this for a friend, the only other thing I know is, he mentioned a Duryea speedster the fellow had built.
I looked up "Stevens Duryea" and think it's winner !!

I think you hit it Dave. The windshield frame and the front door turns up at the cowl the same.
