Re: 1910 in Hailey, Idaho
It looks like the whole town turned out for the excitement. The banner at the rear of the car tells the story. It looks like it might be " ... America Tour".
I think the car could be a Oldsmobile. They used those "plow shear" fenders on some models and also that kind of cowl but I can't find a photo that matches with that door line. The hill with a few trees certainly looks like the Sun Valley area.
It's always fun to see these photos.
Thanks
Rich

Maybe these guys? <https://www.technologyreview.com/2013/0 ... road-trip/> West Newton, Mass to Portland, OR in 1910, driving a 1909 Oldsmobile. The photo would have been taken after the boys and car had put on some hard miles.

I may have spoken too soon. I blew up the photos and compared the cars and although similar, found some differences. For example, the spoke count on the wheels doesn't match. Regardless, it was a nice story!

Re: 1910 in Hailey, Idaho
Thanks for the link Tim. It does support my idea of it being an Olds. It's very similar and perhaps a different trip with a different model.
When did I do that?
