I don't know what they are? But 11672 has a rear view mirror on it! One of the earliest I have seen in random photographs.

The cars look very much alike, except for the fenders being somewhat different.

Overland's had a wider filler neck on the radiator. Many makes used the Mercedes radiator shape. I think I read "This Car to Scotland" on the signs. I suppose they could even be European.
You have stumped me for now.
It is a fun photo.
Thanks
Rich

Signs under windshields: "This car to Portland" (?) ...Looks like a posse heading out to hunt down and cudgel some miscreant!

Thanks for solving my misguided thoughts. I will then speculate that those are 1911 or 1912 Oregon license plates on the cars.

Wish I could read the signs sticking up from the center of the hoods. Obviously some kind of commercial transportation.

Spent some time looking -found some neat sites . The cowl/firewall is very distinctive just too many car builders back then

Looking at the license plate I think its a 1913 Oregon based on the number (1912 didn't go that high and 1920 is different date stamp) also the color and border

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.
