Enjoyed those (especially the instructions for using the telephone, which I will copy and show to my 14-year-old grandchildren). Some were before my time, but many were familiar. :D

I remember some of those days. However, at the time, it seemed just as "modern" as now! My mother scraped up 25c from the piggy bank and went down to the market and bought dinner for the three of us! Only little boys wore shorts. Grown men wore suits!
Almost all women and girls wore dresses. You could actually buy something for a penny!
