Post by Art Ebeling » Wed Nov 24, 2021 7:21 am

I want to buy a good frame or chassis.for my 36 pickup. No repairs or rust. Also looking for a gas tank and rear fenders for 35/36/37 pickup. Thanks, Art

I imagine good ones are hard to find.
How nice you can enjoy both the Ts and the V-8 era. They seem to compliment each other.

Gonna have to disagree with Rich. Nothing to see at Ford after 1925.
Junk that 36 idea and get back to the car as Henry intended it !
More people are doing it today than ever before !

I wholeheartedly agree with Rich. My Dad and I started restorations on a couple of ‘41 Fords the last few years I lived at home. He ended up selling both projects after I left home, but the experience permanently instilled in me a respect for all older vehicles. I think the ultimate would be to have have an early V-8 truck set up as a tow vehicle for the Model T’s.😎

Burger's comment stems from enjoying a TT too much. It may explain why I never completed 2 1935 Ford projects. The fun didn't produce the necessary work to make that happen. However, my Panel Delivery engine sits ready to start and listen to whenever I like. That alone makes it worthwhile for me.
Art, I wish you all the Best.

Rich, I have the 11 Touring and a 31 Model A Victoria. For my next project I wanted the next developement from Ford and I thought that should be a 30's V8. I have been wanting an old truck so I decided on a 35 or 36. I have an unrestored 47 Pickup my wife wanted me to do next but I just can't see the beauty in that jailbar front end so it really doesn't interest me. I thought about going backwards in Ford history and even inquired about an alphabet car but the parts just are not out there and the reproductions are no longer being made. I had started to run into that problem with my 11 T even though it was pretty complete when I got it. This will keep me busy for awhile and I will end up with another nice restored Ford. Art
