The maltese cross must have been very popular back then. Martin Parry and others used it also.

What fun they are having posing for the photo. There are almost smiles on their faces.
I hope someone can recognize the make. It looks like a chain drive 1-cyl gas car to me. There were so many high wheelers that had that type of body. Holsman in particular but I haven't seen one with the smaller wheels. Perhaps it is one whose name we haven't heard before.

The front axle is unusual. I know I have seen that somewhere, but doubt I can find it at this time. I will need to study this one some more!

What do we know about "Weber Wagons" ? I'm guessing that branding was a well-known maker of farm wagons and possibly carriages ? Is it possible the motor carriage in the picture is a Weber product ? Is the building in the background the wagon works ? I hope someone will find some answers. I'm fascinated by these early "unknowns". Many thanks for another great old photo !

Looking closer it may have dos a dos seating. (back to back) Or perhaps that was added. I thought that would narrow the search down but it hasn't yet.

Re/ Weber Wagons, they were a Chicago firm established in 1845 that grew to dominate farm wagon and bobsled production. The company was purchased by International Harvester Corp. in 1904. IHC continued to market wagons under the Weber name.

More likely the Weber Wagon signage is just advertising or perhaps an agency. The prominent signage on the building appears to be Owl Cigars ?

A bit hard to read clearly but the name above the door might be J.H. or J.B. EAT ? if that rings anyone's bells ?
