Wow! All alone!

Post by DLodge » Tue Apr 09, 2019 5:14 pm

Just looked at the bottom of the screen to see who's here. Just me and 0 guests. (I read that as just me.) I guess I have the place all to myself. Maybe I'll rearrange the furniture or something. No one to object.... :D

You may be alone, but you're being watched, Dick !! Please put that Chesterfield back by the south window. Ambrose doesn't see well in the dark and he could trip if you change things. Thank you.

No way! It shows I'm alone here and that seems impossible. 8:55 PM central time.
It's all a trick! A ruse (I say!) to make us all believe there's no one here and yet......??

I too find myself alone at the present. It is a quiet place to spend time. The comments on the Gallery also are quite quiet. Also the Vintage Ford section.
It was interesting to see the Kalamity Dick views reach 10790. Not bad for an unpopular thread.
This may be the calm before the storm.

So peaceful here. No "sez you" arguments about that ol or fiber gears. :D
Dick, thanks for moving the Chesterfield back where it was. Much appreciated. Think I'll do a little dusting before I go.

You are never alone if you have a Model T, it has been many places you haven't and will be in many more after you move on.

And the KD thread is great, it keeps a lot of nonsense and stupidity in one place rather than spread out on a lot of different threads. So anyone feeling lonely who wants to post something ridiculous has a place to go!

Thanks Dave,

Bakersfield Swap Meet was great as always.

Spent most of my time at Kim Dobbin’s tables.

I surely do like him - everybody seems to stop by to visit.

There was much discussion about the babbitt work needed on the 1904 Ford Model B that Kim is bringing back to life - it was decided that Erik B in Auburn would do the work - he took it with him.

Neat pic FJ. Fun to see how similar yet dissimilar the parts are, compared to our "modern" T parts.
Sorry to bump this.

Imagine that design in the second production year.

The cradle is aluminum.

That 1904 Model B is a marvel.
