Seeking parts for Fry "Mae West" visible gas pump

Post by Scott_Conger » Fri May 13, 2022 2:05 pm

I am seeking the two side panels which cover access to the actual pump mechanism on the base.
This is the type of pump:

This is one of two panels:

One panel would have a hole in it for the pump handle, with a little flap-like door to cover over the hole when the handle is removed...the other panel would be solid (my picture shows a drain-back in place where the panel would normally be solid)

any help/leads would be appreciated

thank you

Try GasPumpHeaven.com

Lots of parts for that model. Good company. Have bought from them couple times.

Call them if you have specific questions.

Paul

I must thank you for that suggestion. When I started this project 2 years ago the only doors available were fiberglass. I can tell you that they are too thick, don't fit, and are pretty much hideous. I almost disregarded your advice but just checked and they now carry credible looking steel doors...

thank you for making me look again!!

They are not quite correct but are far and away better than the fiberglass ones I purchased 2 years ago.

I think I will keep looking for originals for the short run, but now know that I at least have a good fall-back position

thank you again.
