Prepare for global cooling, crop failures and food shortages, there will be plenty of firewood due to all the dead trees. Stockpile all of the Spam, veinna sausages, Canned Corned beef hash and beer you can get your hands on!

Don't forget to stock up on tasty, nutritious powdered insects! They're good for you, good for the Polar Bears, and good for ice and snow everywhere!

Which Tipping Point are we past?

The Greenland Ice cap is melting and the Sierra Nevada Glaciers are melting. All my life the climate has been changing. However, it seems to run in cycles. Droughts, floods, Tornado's Hurricanes etc. One year over 100 years ago a large volcano erupted in the pacific ocean and New England had snow in the summer! It is always changing. We have done a lot to delete air pollution. I lived in the Los Angeles area in the 1950's and it was like peeling onions in a smoke filled room. Hard to keep the eyes open and to breathe. That is greatly improved these days, but once a government agency if formed, they seem to look for other things to control so they don't lose their jobs.

Los Angeles is in a very bad location for a large, modern city. They ought to get rid of LAX. Mexico City could hardly be in a worse location for a huge, heavily industralized city. Pittsburg, Pennsylvania is in a horrible location for an industrial city. Eight billion people is four times too many.
