I saw this a while back and while looking on-line, it popped up again. I think that is a Model A block in there.

There certainly is! Looks like a 16 port copy of the somewhat successful Fronty “Stagger valve”. The Stagger valve never actually a major success on the track, but made the awesome list by having both intake and exhaust manifolds on both sides of the head. Supposedly this was to combat the traditional heating problems of a cross flow head…
