Help please
I'm in Minnesota helping my cousins kids clean out and value his estate. It took 3 days to value all the T stuff. He has quite a large model railroad collection, much of it new in box. American flyer, Lionel etc. we need to find a buyer for it all or most of it. I'll try to post a picture a bit later today. Any leads to buyers would be much appreciated. Kim

Check Craigs list. Of course they will want to buy for pennies on the $'s. Some of the American Flyer stuff is worth more then Lionel but it depends on how common ether is, less common is more $'s. Some of the American Flyer sets of passenger cars have asking price in the hundreds of $'s. I have been doing a little repair work on some of both on the side.

I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Re: Help please
I sold your cousin a really nice American Flyer Glendale station a couple years ago.
If you want to do it locally, you might be able to find a buyer via one of the clubs here in the Twin Cities:
Pines & Prairies S Scale Workshop (including American Flyer)
Walt Jopke
6611 Countryside Drive
Eden Prairie, MN
jopke@vtc.com
Lakes and Pines Division of the Train Collectors Association (various scales)
www.tcaLakesAndPines.com
There are also a couple of want-ads on Minneapolis Craigslist for Lionel that I see on a regular basis:
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/ ... 94109.html
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/ ... 39268.html

Steve Tomaso - That's David Dansky, Ridgefield, WA. I don't have his phone number, however, he is so well known as a "buyer, collector, etc. that he should be pretty easy to contact online, Facebook, etc.,....harold

Re: Help please
I just remembered that the fellow who usually posts on Minneapolis Craigslist for Lionel also posts want-ads for American Flyer:
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/ ... 30231.html
I would say he's located about 25 miles from your cousin's place.
