Ethyl gas

I once bought a Model T and the seller insisted, I would need to get some supplement to replace the lead in non-leaded gas. I told him that leaded gas came out after the Model T era was over. He didn't believe me.

Her is an article that I read today on the inventor of leaded gas:

I found it in here :

Leaded fuel is wonderful stuff. It will do no harm in a T, but it isn't needed. Model T engines, whether stock or near stock, run at very low stress and will accommodate low octane fuel quite well. Exhaust valve recession is not an issue with T engines except where the valve doesn't seat properly or is run with too much clearance for a very long time.
