I doubt it, I would guess once everyone realized what happened they are glad their tickets did not get punched!

The rally attendee who was shot dead was about 15 years old, if I heard the report correctly.

Thought it better to delete my post since it contained some error.

The assassin was 20. I have not heard about the bystander deaths/injuries yet.

Correction: The attendee who died was a 50 year old man, not fifteen.

I love it when folks have things deleted or removed especially when you can do a little google search and find stuff they’ve posted still out in the ether that is equal to or surpassed said post. Rules for thee but not for me mentality. What’s a little censorship in a democracy anyway.

I totally agree! But I suspect the moderators would allow it, if it is in the OT section and stayed on topic and remained civil. The topic of the original post that started this thread is a tragedy. That, I'm sure we can all agree. Yet, some use it as a launch pad to air unrelated old grievances and snarky hyperbolic rants and call it political discourse. They are impulsively disagreeable even when they agree. This is a microcosm of where we are as a nation.

It may be possible to have these discussions if we all read and consider your ending quote before hitting the post button.
