Any one on here know anything about the 1909 REO 2 cylinder car?

It is all there, but the wheel rims are in need. It looks like they sat in the dirt.
It even had the canvas belly pan under the car and around the chain drive.

That's a very early car and it needs to be saved!

It appears to be all there. It just needs a little glue and TLC.

I've owned a couple of 2 cylinder Reo's. My present 2 cylinder is a 1906. I'm very familure and can answer most questions. My nephew rebuilds Reo transmissions, makes new radiators, timers and water pumps.

Yes this is my car. A friend of a friend found it out of a barn near me, and I got it just the way you see it. It appears to be all there.

Pretty much barn fresh. It is all there.
The wheels need to be redone. Any one know what size tire it would use?

An acquaintence of mine here in the Twin Cities restored a 1909 REO that was very complete and in comparable condition to yours. (It also had the original canvas belly pan/diaper like your REO.)
Alhough it was a victim of poor storage, it was actually a low mileage car and mechanically there was very little wear so he didn't need to do much to the motor other than a light overhaul.
It wasn't a prize winner as the frame, front axle, rear axle housings, etc. had deep pitting due to rust which he did not fill prior to painting but it was a very reliable car and was on the New London to Brighton run on more the one occassion.
